The Lies That Bind: Rethinking Identity (Hardcover) by Kwame Anthony Appiah is a groundbreaking exploration of how our identities—whether defined by creed, country, race, class, or culture—both divide and connect us.
With clarity and depth, Appiah reveals how many of the categories we live by are built on misconceptions and yet remain central to how people see themselves and others. Through philosophy, history, and personal insight, this book challenges us to rethink identity in a polarized world.
This hardcover edition is ideal for readers who value a durable, collectible copy that captures one of today’s most important conversations about identity and belonging.
